Dear Teena:
My family and I can not thank Always With You Homecare enough for the excellent care provided to our 85-year old father, Ed Lambert for the past several months.
As you know, Ed suffers from dementia. Earlier this year, I was concerned that Ed’s memory issues had worsened. However, after several weeks of your patient and individualized care I began to notice that he seemed better and that he was back to “baseline”.
Although I am a licensed occupational therapist and I have formal training in dealing with dementia patients, I do not always have the time to provide the therapeutic care that you gave so very nicely.
I believe the reasons that Ed improved while in your care is that that Always With You Homecare, LLC Caregivers never spoke “down” to him. They always treated him like an adult and never spoke to him as if he were a child. Also, you kept him active. We appreciate the daily walks, the 3-wheel bicycle rides, and the many hours that you helped him with his jigsaw puzzles and word search books!
Additionally, I can not underestimate the value of your dependability and how nice and tidy you kept the house. Ed’s laundry was always done and I would arrive home to a house cleaner than I left it!
